Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership and motivational abilities
Effective quantitative, analytical, and interpretive skills
Demonstrated strong customer service skills
Proficient in MS Office, including Excel
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
In-depth knowledge of claims administration and cost containment for Workersâ Compensation

Responsibilities

Supervises claims staff in their day-to-day operations
Assists Claims Manager with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff
Ensures compliance with Workersâ Compensation laws and regulatory requirements
Provides ongoing training, coaching, and performance evaluations for optimal team performance
Offers technical guidance on complex claims issues and service account instructions
Acts as a liaison for claim-specific resolutions for clients and employees
Participates in customer claim reviews and presentations
Ability to travel overnight for meetings if required
