We are currently seeking a Commercial Auto Property Damage Claims Representative to fill a position in our Boston office, directly across the street from South Station. Requirements

1-2 years of auto claims handling experience, preferably commercial auto.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively via phone, text, email, and other written correspondence.
Demonstrated level of competency in time management, priority setting, and customer focus.
Experience using a claims management and imaging system
Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience

Responsibilities

Contact insureds, claimants, attorneys and other parties related to an auto accident.
Proficient in communicating in a variety of ways, including text, email and letter.
Investigate all assigned claims for coverage, liability and damages.
Ensure timely disposition of all claims in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
Responsible for timely payment of auto repairs and resolution of total losses.
Ensure adherence to a variety of commercial policies including related coverages and exclusions.
Determine liability of parties involved in a loss, including application of comparative negligence.
Effectively manage workload through claims management and imaging systems.
