Requirements

  • 1-2 years of auto claims handling experience, preferably commercial auto.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, text, email, and other written correspondence.
  • Demonstrated level of competency in time management, priority setting, and customer focus.
  • Experience using a claims management and imaging system
  • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience

Responsibilities

  • Contact insureds, claimants, attorneys and other parties related to an auto accident.
  • Proficient in communicating in a variety of ways, including text, email and letter.
  • Investigate all assigned claims for coverage, liability and damages.
  • Ensure timely disposition of all claims in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Responsible for timely payment of auto repairs and resolution of total losses.
  • Ensure adherence to a variety of commercial policies including related coverages and exclusions.
  • Determine liability of parties involved in a loss, including application of comparative negligence.
  • Effectively manage workload through claims management and imaging systems.
