The Case Processor I (Administrative Assistant II) position is located at our State Office location in Austin is on the north lawn of the Texas State Capitol at 101 E. 15th Street. This is an In-Office position at our 101 E 15th St, Austin location. Work hours are flexible Monday - Friday, starting as early as 7:00am, ending no later than 6:00pm. Work schedule must be approved by Management. You must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or willing to relocate to Texas. You possess the ability to perform duties involving close attention to detail with accuracy, keep up with a fast-paced work environment, and have good interpersonal skills to communicate with coworkers. The Appeals Tribunal holds and hears first level appeals from the original determination in disputed claims for unemployment insurance benefits. The Case Processor I primarily reviews incoming appeal submission requests and creates hearings to adverse determinations for the Appeal Tribunal. The Case Processor I performs routine (journey-level) administrative support work under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
