About The Position

We have multiple openings for a two-year Claims Processor to work on the Claims Team in the Member Services Department. The Member Services Department administers various health and financial benefits to organizations of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are committed to delivering exceptional service to all our valued customers including participants, providers, and employers. Duties: This self-motivated associate will adjudicate medical and dental claims for Deseret Mutual participants.

Requirements

• Excellent data entry skills on web-based applications
• A strong attention for detail
• Good oral communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret processing problems
• Team player who is results oriented
• Basic PC skills
• Ability to work alone and with others
• Multi-task oriented
• Must reside within 2 hours of downtown Salt Lake City, UT

Nice To Haves

• Preferred medical or dental claims processing experience
• Preferred High School graduate or equivalent
• Preferred completion of a Medical Terminology Course
