About The Position

Manage the daily operations for billing, collecting and/or counseling functions. Assist with developing goals, standards, and objectives that directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Manage activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives. Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards and initiatives. Monitor budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • This Revenue Cycle Manager will need a combination of technical, analytical, and leadership skills, including knowledge of medical billing and coding, proficiency in healthcare software, and strong financial acumen.
  • Key skills also include problem-solving, attention to detail, strategic planning, communication, and the ability to manage teams to optimize financial performance and ensure compliance.
  • Coding Certification from AAPC and experience in Professional Billing/Physician Practice Billing.
