About The Position

Aon is looking for a Claims Manager I As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as a Claims Manager I in our Ft. Wayne, IN office. In this hybrid role, you will oversee medical and participant accident claims, supporting our K&K Insurance group within Aon Affinity. Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and time management abilities.
Experience with medical or accident claims and knowledge of claims processes.
Innovative thinker with a focus on process improvement.
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in Medical, PIP or Workers Compensation claims.

Nice To Haves

Supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assign new medical and accident claims to direct reports.
Supervise and training Claims Examiners, ensuring compliance with carrier requirements and internal procedures.
Review and manage examiner caseloads, providing guidance on complex claim issues.
Oversee claim payments exceeding examiner authority.
Conduct monthly file audits and participate in quality assurance programs.
Evaluate examiner performance and support ongoing professional development.
Serve as a liaison with clients, brokers, healthcare providers, and internal teams regarding claim status and resolution.
Communicate new account requirements and claims handling protocols.
