Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Five (5) years of claims management experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of California jurisdiction and relevant licensing.
  • Ability to manage high exposure claims involving litigation.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims.
  • Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority.
  • Calculate and assign appropriate reserves to claims.
  • Manage the litigation process for claims resolution.
  • Communicate claim activity effectively with clients and claimants.
  • Ensure claim files are properly documented.
