About The Position

The Claims Coordinator is responsible for performing various administrative tasks of the Post-Sale Claims Team. As the Claims Coordinator, your responsibilities will include managing transfer of files from the Presale Team, triaging files to verify completion of critical steps from the Presale Team, and assigning pending tasks to the Claims Processor ensuring workload balance on the team. The Claims Coordinator will: Manage intake of Agency Requests for documentation (to perfect the claim submission) Monitor to ensure timely and accurate response Perform post-sale processing steps as required by investor/insurer guidelines Cancel hazard insurance Notify Taxing Authority and HOA, PUD management of change in ownership Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with GSE (FNMA/FHLMC), and Insurer servicing guidelines is desired
  • Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
