Essential Functions Assist clients with claim reporting by collecting relevant information and submitting on their behalf. Obtain confirmation of new claims including claim number and adjuster assignment. Effectively utilize MJ’s client management system and document management system in order to appropriately document claim activity. Provide ongoing monitoring of open claims through internal diary system. Obtain status from carrier based on type of claim and severity. Educate clients on the claim handling process. Address client claim-related concerns and inquiries on a daily on-demand basis. Respond to pre-determined internal inquiries, obtaining and relaying information as requested. Assist with formal client onboarding to include tailored form creation and carrier website access and training. Complete annual checkup of special handling guidelines per client Collaborate with and support the Commercial Claim team. Technical Functions Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, Outlook Entry level knowledge of property/casualty insurance Effectively utilize access to various carrier websites, developing proficiency in navigating portals Physical Demands This position is mostly sedentary.
