About The Position
Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a member of the Tokio Marine Group, designs, markets and underwrites commercial property/casualty and professional liability insurance products for select industries. We have been in operation since 1962 and are nationally recognized as a member of Ward's Top 50 and rated A++ by A.M.Best. We are looking for a Claims Assistant - to join our team. Summary: Provides administrative support to claims unit(s) and handles routine document tracking, internal/external customer/vendor communication and other basic claims functions. A typical day will include the following: • Reviews and analyzes new claims for accuracy, completeness and eligibility. • Prepares and maintains reports and records for processing in line with established procedures. • Meets productivity and customer service targets. • Handles routine communications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- General computer proficiency.
- Proficiency with MS Office products.
- Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual preferred.
