We are looking for a motivated and detail oriented Entry-Level Claims and Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support our growing quality and regulatory affairs team. In this role, you will work at the intersection of customer service, product compliance, and sustainability, helping to ensure our products meet both customer expectations and global regulatory requirements. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to organize large sets of data.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of regulatory and environmental concepts (training provided).
  • Critical thinking and autonomous problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with QMS systems and Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship or coursework in regulatory affairs, sustainability, or quality assurance is a plus but not required.
  • Manufacturing exposure (via internships, labs, or part-time roles) is beneficial.
  • Customer service background preferred.
  • familiarity with QMS systems and Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Log and track incoming product claims from customers.
  • Support investigation of product issues by gathering documentation, photos, and initial information from internal departments (production, QA, etc.).
  • Assist with follow-up communication to customers regarding claim status and resolution.
  • Help maintain claims records and contribute to reports on claim trends and performance metrics.
  • Assist with gathering documentation and data for regulatory declarations such as: REACH, RoHS, PFAS, Proposition 65, TSCA, and CMRT.
  • Help maintain the product compliance database and organize documentation for audits or customer requests.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to collect material and chemical composition data.
  • Support data collection and entry for comprehensive biannual sustainability reporting initiatives (e.g., carbon footprint, waste metrics) across multiple departments.
  • Help prepare documentation for environmental certifications and product declarations.
  • Participate in projects to improve the sustainability profile of our operations and products.
  • Assist the QA team with tasks such as document control, inspection records, and non-conformance tracking.
  • Participate in internal quality audits or process improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Learn and apply basic principles of ISO 9001 and quality management systems used at Amorim Cork Solutions.
