What you’ll do: Monitor, provide input, and assist with the resolution of glass and emergency roadside assistance claims. Maintain ongoing personal contact and provide leadership and management for the Claims Shared Services Support personnel. Ensure claims are settled in accordance with regulations by keeping current with existing and pending claims precedents and legislation for all states. Overseeing that work is properly assigned, adequate reserves are maintained, and that files meet or exceed claims best practices. Oversee all staff development aspects including the selection, training/development, disciplining/performance reviews, salary administration, referring employee complaints, controlling workflow, motivation of employees, and assigned budget activities. Audit department files to ensure proper procedures have been followed, claims have been processed timely and individual goals attained. Respond to inquiries and concerns from policyholders, agents, regulatory agencies and the general public regarding claims matters with the support department.
