About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department/Claims in tracking vehicle crashes, workers' compensation and unemployment, as well as assisting in the processing of claims. CLAIMS SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Create and maintain files for all claims (crashes, workers' compensation, unemployment). Assisting in the processing of claims for the above areas. Willingness to expand knowledge and assigned roles by attending seminars and trainings as determined. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Travel to various Dean Operation's sites throughout the state may occasionally be required (company vehicle provided). DEAN SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS Must pass criminal background check and have favorable reference checks. Must possess a valid Michigan Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record.

Requirements

  • Human Resources experience required, prior experience with the above areas preferred
  • High School Diploma required, college degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe
  • Demonstrate an excellent attendance record
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills (internal and external)
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work independently with attention to detail
  • Demonstrate effective and efficient problem solving
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate effective and efficient problem solving
  • Must pass criminal background check and have favorable reference checks
