Requirements

  • Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas
  • Floodplain Manager Certification
  • Demonstrated experience managing hazard mitigation and floodplain management projects
  • Experience managing civil infrastructure, hazard mitigation and floodplain management projects
  • Ability to manage clients and develop new business opportunities
  • Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.; Occasional overnight travel will be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Fifteen (15) years of previous experience with civil infrastructure, hazard mitigation and floodplain management projects
  • Ten (10) years of experience managing civil infrastructure, hazard mitigation and floodplain management projects
  • Spanish bilingual with ability to provide technical assistance and training to local officials and community members, including outreach to Spanish‑speaking populations as needed
  • Current affiliation and/or membership with local, state or national civil engineering societies and associations

Responsibilities
