About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Superintendent to oversee utility projects, including water/sewer and stormwater management initiatives. The role involves managing and supervising site construction operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This includes coordinating workers and subcontractors, managing resources, monitoring progress, enforcing quality and safety standards, and serving as the primary point of contact for the project team and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience in construction, civil construction, and civil site management.
  • Proficiency in commercial construction and subcontractor management.
  • Strong experience in construction supervision, ground-up projects, site construction, project scheduling, and utilities management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with managing utility projects, particularly in water/sewer and stormwater management.
  • Familiarity with project management software and documentation.
  • Ability to enforce quality and safety standards effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the project schedule; monitor progress, allocate resources, and make adjustments to ensure timely completion.
  • Lead the site team by assigning tasks, hiring, and managing subcontractors, and holding site meetings as necessary to facilitate work.
  • Oversee the quality of work performed by teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Contribute to cost estimation and monitor expenses to ensure the project remains within the allocated budget.
  • Act as the key liaison between the construction site and project stakeholders, including the project manager, engineers, architects, and clients, facilitating communication and resolving issues.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs of site activities, manage project documentation, and utilize project management software to organize data.
  • Enforce company policies to maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Manage day-to-day operations on site, dedicating 90% of your time to overseeing site activities and duties as assigned.
