We are currently seeking a Managing Engineer for our Civil & Structural Engineering Practice in Chicago, IL or Warrenville, IL. In this role, you will work as part of a team conducting analytical and computer problem solving, performing experimental field investigations and diagnostic surveys, and maintaining client relations.

Requirements

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience
  • Presently legally authorized to work in the United States. No immigration sponsorship or processing required.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to positively interact with professionals, technical staff, and administrative staff
  • Outstanding professional reputation and publications
  • Strong client base in similar market areas
  • A dedication to quality and accuracy

Nice To Haves

  • Illinois S.E. license preferred

Responsibilities

  • Performing tasks and executing projects related to structural engineering
  • Performing analysis of complex structures
  • Conducting inspection of damaged structures and associated engineering failure analysis
  • Preparing technical reports and presentation of findings
  • Continued professional development towards maintaining professional expertise
  • Providing expert testimony where appropriate
