About The Position

This position provides administrative and technical support working closely with the front-end staff to ensure timely response and monitoring of reports. This role will primarily provide daily customer service support by answering phone calls, managing the main inbox, recording messages with the use of tracker logs, updating case files, managing case files, and providing technical support as needed for live Title IX hearings. The position manages the Executive Director’s calendar and provides case management and outreach/scheduling assistance to the Deputy Coordinators, with consideration for priority of appointments. This position will enhance constituent experience, interactions, and efficiency in compliance with university policies, as well as federal, state, and local laws. This position is vital to providing exemplary customer service to constituents contacting the office, submitting reports and/or complaints, scheduling and maintaining records. This position provides critical in person presence and is the primary responder to office inquiries. This is a 100% in office position with no hybrid/remote options. Description of Work Unit: Colorado State University’s (CSU) Office of Civil Rights Compliance is responsible for ensuring the University’s obligations of equal access and equal opportunity in education and employment for all faculty, staff and students through the application and implementation of policies, procedures and practices that are equitable, transparent and understood by members of the University community. The office processes employee ADA requests and responds to reports of discrimination, harassment including sexual harassment, stalking, interpersonal and sexual violence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education (High School Diploma/GED +) and related experience.
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
  • Previous customer service experience with scheduling and administrative support.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience working civil rights, discrimination, ADA, human resources, interpersonal violence and/or sexual misconduct or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front end support including answering the main office phones, email inbox, party outreaches, responding to walk-ins, manage call/contact logs, sexual misconduct verification (employment, athletics, etc)
  • Provide note taking support in informational sessions and investigative interviews (as needed)
  • Manage scheduling for the Executive Director, Title IX hearings, informational meeting.
  • Title IX hearing virtual room facilitation.
  • Assistance with management of case files, including investigation files, initial case file creation, complaint logs
  • Other duties as assigned
