Requirements

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure
  • 5+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on municipal engineering
  • AutoCAD required; Civil 3D preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents, with a preferred focus on municipal infrastructure projects
  • Manage and lead construction observation and project management services to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and specifications
  • Provide technical guidance and quality control to ensure project deliverables meet all required specifications
  • Lead client interactions during the design, bidding, contracting, and construction phases, ensuring smooth project execution and client satisfaction
  • Coordinate closely with municipal staff and regulatory agencies to secure necessary permits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with the Senior Engineer to manage and support various infrastructure projects
  • Engage regularly with city councils, public works departments, and other local entities to discuss project details, provide updates, and align engineering solutions with community needs, and drive strategic initiatives
