Ready to shape the future of resilient communities? Verdantas is seeking a Mid-level Civil Land Services Engineer to support our growing team in the Wilkes-Barre, PA office. As a Civil Land Services Engineer, you'll work with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to high-impact site development projects. We are looking for a team member who is eager to strengthen their technical skills and gain a deeper understanding of land services. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • 4-7 years of experience in land services, civil-site engineering design
  • AutoCAD proficient, Civil 3D a plus
  • Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement health and safety plans, including client-specific documentation (e.g., JSAs)
  • Perform data analysis and computations using software tools
  • Create plans, specifications, and reports following Verdantas CAD standards
  • Support the Project Manager by reviewing team outputs and tracking progress in project management software
  • Provide technical guidance and evaluate engineering solutions
  • Collect and interpret data from research, fieldwork, and testing
  • Draft reports and submit to the Project Manager for review
  • Prepare cost estimates and coordinate quality assurance
  • Assemble permit applications and liaise with agencies under PM direction
  • Contribute to proposal development through site visits, scope definition, and drafting
  • Participate in client meetings and communicate technical details
