Overview We have an immediate need for an Civil Inspector for our Staten Island project sites. Come join our team! Responsibilities Summary of Duties: Oversee and verify construction activities, reading and understanding construction documents, maintain field records. Adhere to safety requirements and informing Resident Engineer about unsafe conditions and non-conforming work in the field. Responsibilities: Take jobsite photos, Complete daily logs of work performed by tracking manpower and equipment, confirm quality of work is being completed per standard and detailed specifications, reporting to the Resident Engineer. Qualifications Experience: Experience with excavation and trench work, including but not limited to sewer, drainage, electrical, gas, communication, etc. Experience with grading, fill placement and roadway and sidewalk installation. Education: Construction Management or Engineering preferred. Skills: Must be able to use all Microsoft products (outlook, teams, word, excel) and proficient with Adobe. Knowledge of Visio preferred but not required. Certifications or Licenses (if required): NICET level 2 or higher preferred. Requirements
