The Transmission Construction Inspector are qualified company representatives responsible for providing direct oversight of construction activities by contractors at PG&E. The Incumbents are the liaisons between the contractor and all other workgroups that may be involved in the successful completion of the construction project. Inspectors may be responsible for civil construction, electrical construction, or both. Transmission Construction Inspector focuses on contractor and coworker safety, compliance with PG&E designs and standards, productivity, and quality control/quality assurance. They foster a safe work environment by exhibiting an absolute commitment to safety for self and others. Headquarter base for role will be Eureka, CA. Position will require approximately 75% of travel time in work schedule. Work is predominantly outdoors and in all weather conditions. The individual must be able to drive safely, work extended hours; report to headquarters upon request at any time, travel to new headquarters upon request at any time, and wear company provided Personal Protective Equipment.
