About The Position

Key Responsibilities Project Setup & Planning Assist the Estimator with transferring project setup from HeavyBid into HeavyJob and Foundations. Review the project upon award and conduct buyout alongside the Estimator, Superintendent, and OO. Request and submit all required submittals and shop drawings to the Engineer for approval. Lead internal Preconstruction Meetings with the Estimator, Superintendent, Foreman, and OO. Conduct external Preconstruction Meetings with the Owner/GC, Superintendent, and Foreman to ensure clear alignment at project start. Project Management & Execution Review daily work in HeavyJob and weekly labor utilization and job cost reports in Foundations. Price and process extra work in HeavyBid, and set up approved extras in HeavyJob/Foundations. Conduct weekly jobsite visits to assess progress, identify unforeseen conditions, and meet with Owner/GC/Inspector representatives. Convert all T&M work into timely change orders to support accurate and prompt billing. Attend all progress and scheduling meetings with Owners/GCs, Inspectors, and field leadership. Create and maintain internal project schedules using Microsoft Project to support manpower allocation and track delays. Forecast monthly project expenses and revenues based on updated schedules and project developments. Maintain consistent communication with Owners/GCs/Inspectors and internal staff via phone and email to keep all parties informed. Project Closeout Conduct external closeout meetings with the Owner/GC, Superintendent, and Foreman to review punch list items and ensure completion of all expectations. Lead internal closeout meetings with the Estimator, Superintendent, Foreman, and OO to ensure all documentation—including As-Builts, Maintenance Bonds, Completion Affidavits, Change Orders, Final Billing, Retainage Release, Lien Waivers, and Warranty Letters—is completed and submitted. Review final project profitability and job cost reports with the team to identify opportunities for improvement in estimating, field operations, and overall performance. Qualifications Experience in construction project management, preferably in heavy civil or excavation. Proficiency with HeavyBid, HeavyJob, Foundations, and Microsoft Project. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities. Requirements
