About The Position

Rinker Design Associates is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to support civil and municipal engineering projects, with an emphasis on water and sanitary sewer systems. This position offers hands-on experience working with engineering professionals on real-world infrastructure projects serving local and regional clients.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
• Solid oral and written communication skills
• Desire to work in a team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship experience preferred
• Proficiency with CAD/CADD software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with water and wastewater engineering tasks, including design support and documentation
• Support engineering staff with project-related calculations, reports, and drawings
• Utilize CAD/CADD software to assist with plan preparation, as needed
• Collaborate with project teams to support ongoing engineering projects
