About The Position
Leading architectural and engineering firm is adding a Senior Civil Engineer to their Milwaukee team!
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an EAC-ABET accredited program
- 12+ years of experience in civil systems design (healthcare, commercial, institutional, and/or higher education project types)
- PE License
- Experience leading the design of site improvements
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WinSLAMM, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Lead civil project engineer duties including ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards
- Make staffing recommendations to ensure appropriate resource allocation
- Ensure that civil engineering design documents meet regulatory, client, and project specifications
- Elevate department best practices
- Develop strong relationships within the company
- Mentor/train junior staff
