About The Position

Toth and Associates, Inc. (TOTH) is currently seeking candidates for a Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Department. TOTH Civil Engineers are responsible for design and permitting for site development, stormwater management, wastewater systems, potable water systems, and transportation projects. This position plays a key role in the delivery of multidisciplinary projects by contributing technical knowledge and skills and supporting project teams.

Requirements

B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
2+ years of engineering experience
EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Strong organizational and communications skills
Experience with engineering consulting
Experience with local, state, and federal regulatory permitting processes
Familiarity with AutoCAD software
Familiarity with common civil engineering design software
Excellent computer skills
Demonstrated ability to work on projects from conceptual design through construction
Outstanding written and verbal skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Plan, design, and manage various civil engineering projects re: site development, stormwater management, wastewater systems, potable water systems, and/or transportation.
Ensure designs meet applicable codes, client expectations, and internal standards.
Interact with clients and professionally represent the firm.
Occasionally travel to project locations typically within a 200-mile radius.
