About The Position

Amentum, a global leader in critical mission support, engineering, technology, and national security solutions, is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to support a government contract award based in Kings Bay, Georgia. Position Summary Collects, analyzes, interprets, and develops specialized information about equipment. Provides such information together with advisory service to those who design, test, produce, procure, supply, operate, repair, or dispose of equipment, and/or develops, installs, inspects, or revises equipment maintenance programs and techniques based on a practical knowledge of the equipment, including its design, production, operational, and maintenance requirements. Applies an intensive, practical knowledge of the characteristics, properties, and uses of equipment of the type gained from technical training, education, and experience in such functions as repairing, overhauling, maintaining, constructing, or inspecting equipment. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience as a 3-M coordinator or equivalent.
  • CRT workstation experience.
  • Two years maintenance experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trades.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Must have and wear hard-toed safety shoes which meet ASTM F2413-05 standards.
  • Successful candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements for access to all areas of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
  • Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

  • Personal Protective Equipment will be required.
