We are excited to present this opportunity in our St. Joseph, MO office for a civil engineer with 2-plus years experience in consulting engineering. St Joseph is a growing city on the Missouri River just a short drive from the Kansas City metro area. It's an area that has many of the conveniences of a large city without the pressures of traffic and density that larger cities are known for. Snyder & Associates is a multidisciplinary Civil Engineering Firm working on most facets of transportation and site development projects. This particular opportunity provides a focus on site design duties as well as client exposure on a variety of Civil Engineering Projects.

Nice To Haves
- Experience with or interest in site plan design
- Experience in a variety of civil engineering projects, both public and private
- Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form.
- Strong teaming skills as well as able to deliver as an individual contributor
- On pace to achieve PE licensure in Missouri and/or Kansas
- Ability to work on multiple. diverse projects
Responsibilities
- work on a variety of project assignments for public and private clientele
- helping develop project estimates, scope and design
- stay involved in projects from start to finish
- regular interaction with with design engineers, clients and regulatory agencies
