About The Position
Sandis is currently looking for an enthusiastic Civil Engineer Intern to join our Campbell team for the summer of 2026. You will get hands-on experience with licensed engineers and be able to acquire knowledge about land development design. This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineering student to explore a career in the industry! This is an ideal opportunity for those who want to get involved with exciting Bay Area projects, gain mentorship that will help further your knowledge, and have a full-time schedule throughout summer.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Junior or Senior standing)
- Familiar with basic AutoCAD commands
- Familiar with general engineering principles such as slope calculations and elevations, utility systems, capacity calculations using known engineering formula, materials and understanding of project specifications, and hydraulics and hydrology.
- Detail oriented
Responsibilities
- Design Engineer computations for grading and utility plans
- Real life engineering assessments
- Fire flow tests
- Assisting with coordination of different agencies
- Design of domestic (potable water) and fire water systems
- Review material submittals
