This role involves supporting project managers and team members with a variety of tasks, including field data collection, civil engineering design, site layout, drainage analysis, preparation of permit applications, and assistance with construction-related services. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution
  • 2-5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in water and wastewater infrastructure, stormwater, and site design
  • AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D experience required
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering fundamentals, including stormwater/drainage design, surface water hydraulics, water and sewage systems, and roadway/parking design

Nice To Haves

  • EIT or PE preferred
  • Vermont regulatory framework experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Manager on municipal, commercial, residential, and institutional projects
  • Prepare reports and permit applications related to civil engineering projects
  • Assist in the design of civil engineering-related projects, including site grading, wastewater collection, septic design, road and drainage improvements, drinking water treatment, distribution, and storage, and construction services assistance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project needs
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices in all project activities
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical input as needed
