From bridge and structural engineering to civil, electrical, mechanical, and process engineering, Kleinfelder’s collaborative Design Services create synergy across multiple disciplines. Step into Your New Role Kleinfelder is seeking a Civil Engineer (E.I.T) to work with our current team on various development projects in the Mid-Atlantic region, including the challenging & rewarding projects relating to land development and power grid resiliency. Other projects the individual may be involved with are commercial, industrial, solar, and mining development projects. This position is available in the following locations: Hanover, MD Mechanicsburg, PA

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in erosion and sediment control design, and post construction stormwater design.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and Hydroflow.

Nice To Haves

  • Engineer in Training Certificate.
  • Understanding of Land Development Processes.
  • Understanding of Zoning Ordinance Review & Compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Site layout & grading.
  • Erosion and sediment control design.
  • Post construction stormwater management.
  • Prepare NPDES permit applications
  • Land development applications in accordance with federal, state, and local ordinances.
  • Zoning compliances.
