About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and talented Civil Engineer 1 to join our dynamic team. This role will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to design, develop, and implement civil engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with limited experience to gain hands-on experience and grow their career in a supportive and professional environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification (preferred but not required).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD and MS Office Suite (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship or co-op experience in a civil engineering environment (preferred but not required).
  • Familiarity with project management principles and practices preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, water/wastewater systems, and other infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and assess project requirements.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Perform calculations and analyses to support project designs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
