Required Qualification: 6 years of experience in heavy industry/oil and gas design. Pass a background check required for Federal Government PIV badging. Possess a valid driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Associate of Applied Science Degree in Computer Aided Drafting & Design Engineer in Training Engineering/Design experience in oil and gas Required Responsibilities include: Serves as the civil designer responsible for oil and gas design packages. Engineering and design of foundations for large equipment with associated access platforms, pipe supports, roads, etc. is the primary function of this position. Field verification, condition assessment, and inspections will be conducted as needed to further the design. Responsible for the creation of updated record drawings in accordance with National CAD standards using existing drawings and findings of field verification and investigation. Reviews plans, specifications and other documents to identify discrepancies, code violations, improper materials or techniques, and substandard or poor-quality workmanship.
