Job Purpose You will be supporting the Civil Design Engineering Lead and Senior Civil Design Engineer on the main areas outlined below as well as the daily course of business. We are seeking a motivated Civil Design Engineer to support the design and development of renewable energy projects, primarily wind farms, as well as solar and energy storage facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong willingness to develop expertise in civil design for infrastructure associated with renewable energy projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geodesy and Photogrammetry Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in civil design engineering (preferably in renewable energy or infrastructure projects), or strong motivation to develop in this field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Ability to work in accordance with multinational standards and adapt to global project requirements
  • Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to drawing standards
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
  • High work discipline and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • Respect and implementation of quality and safety procedures within the company and with contractors.
  • Ensure the respect of procedures within the team and with contractors.
  • Participate in or initiate corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare geometric designs of civil infrastructure using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including the horizontal and vertical alignment of site access roads, crane hardstanding areas, electrical cable routes, and other associated infrastructure for wind, solar, and storage projects
  • Produce design drawings in compliance with relevant local and international standards
  • Prepare earthwork volume calculations and quantity reports for civil engineering works
  • Support the Project Development Team by preparing maps, layout plans, and technical drawings for submission to authorities and stakeholders (e.g., landowners)
  • Coordinate, manage, and monitor subcontractors delivering topographic survey data and soil investigation reports
  • Apply knowledge of coordinate systems and perform necessary coordinate transformations for design and project requirements
