You will have the opportunity to perform a variety of design and drafting assignments and associated tasks to support the needs of Land Development, Civil Engineering Design, and Environmental Permitting projects. With your strong client service attitude, you will produce high quality deliverables in an efficient manner and demonstrate a persistent initiative to continually learn new technical practices and to earn the confidence of clientele, company management/colleagues and regulators. Specific responsibilities will include: Perform a variety of design and drafting assignments and associated tasks to support the needs of the Engineering or Geo-Environmental Groups Project a strong client service attitude Produce high quality deliverables in an efficient manner Demonstrate a persistent initiative to continually learn new technical practices and to earn the confidence of clientele, company management/colleagues and regulators Your Knowledge, Skills and Experience will include: Associate or bachelor’s degree in drafting and design is preferred but not required Approximately 5-10 years of site/civil engineering design with related AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D (standard drafting techniques, terminology and applications) Proficiency with developing 3D surfaces, alignments, plan/profile drawings, application of road templates, and developing cut/fill quantities. Land Development and GIS experience preferred Mining, energy, and oil & gas project experience is a plus Survey/field experience is a plus (download and import survey points into CAD and prepare base mapping, export survey data to instruments as a field package) Strong verbal and written communication skills a must Solid skills in planning and scheduling, organization, problem solving and decision-making Penn E&R, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
