About The Position

As a Citizens Teller, you will be responsible for greeting customers in the branch lobbies and assisting them with various financial needs. This includes demonstrating the use of mobile apps and ATMs for simple transactions. A key part of the role is to create positive customer experiences by identifying their financial goals, offering personalized advice and solutions, and connecting them with Bankers for more advanced services. You will educate customers on Citizens' products and benefits, respond to their questions and concerns, and ensure all financial policies, procedures, cash handling guidelines, and relevant state and local laws and regulations are strictly followed.

Requirements

High School degree or GED
Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers
Strong listening and communication skills
Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship
Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service
Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings

Greet our customers in our lobbies

Create amazing experiences for our customers, looking for opportunities to help them achieve their financial goals by providing personalized advice and solutions that meet their needs, and connect them to our Bankers for the next step
Educate customers with knowledge of Citizens products and benefits
Effectively respond to questions and/or concerns
Follow all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling, state and local laws and regulations
