About The Position

The CIRV Radiology Technologist Cath Lab assists the Physician in performing a variety of specialized procedures (Cardiology, Interventional Radiology/Vascular, and Neurovascular) in the role(s) of radiology technologist, scrub, and/or hemodynamic monitoring. The CIRV Radiology Technologist demonstrates proficiency in the use of a variety of minor and computer related equipment. Additional expectations include, but are not limited to, room setup, patient positioning, and patient screening.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Radiology Technology School
• Must have sufficient training and knowledge in CIRV or experience in a healthcare related field, to be able to take call for the department upon completion of orientation.
• Licensed as a Radiology Technologist by the State of Wisconsin.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association within three months of hire.
• Employee may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Experience as a Technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, or Interventional Radiology environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
• The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) and/or Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI).
