About The Position

You will be the Circuit Card Design Engineer on the ADSWAP CN program. Our team delivers mission critical power electronics for advanced defense systems, driving schematic capture, EPCAD layout, and full cycle Design Assurance for high reliability circuit card assemblies. What You Will Be Doing As the Circuit Card Design Engineer you will own end to end design—from initial concept through layout, verification, and release—ensuring each design meets power distribution, EMI, grounding, isolation, and environmental requirements. You will work side by side with mechanical, software, and test engineers to accelerate procurement and test cycles while providing complete design data packages for Design Assurance reviews. Requirements

Experience developing and refining system requirements, including performance, interface, and environmental specifications.
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited institution, with a minimum of five years of professional experience.
Proven experience in circuit card design, integration, and testing for power electronics.
Proficiency with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise (or equivalent) for schematic capture.
Experience with system power design and power‑distribution architecture.
Experience with EMI grounding and isolation techniques.
Familiarity with the MFC Design Assurance process.
Proficiency in EPCAD layout and signal‑routing solutions.
Ability to conduct trade studies and recommend optimal design implementations.
Knowledge of design assurance documentation and review procedures.

Responsibilities

Capture schematics and produce EPCAD layouts using Siemens Xpedition Enterprise, applying best practice routing, signal integrity, and EMI mitigation techniques.
Develop power distribution circuit card assemblies that satisfy strict performance, thermal, and reliability targets.
Define, document, and trace system performance, interface, and environmental requirements throughout the design lifecycle.
Conduct trade off studies to select optimal components, architectures, and manufacturing processes.
Generate complete design data packages (BOMs, drawings, test plans, verification results) for Design Assurance review and release.
Coordinate with mechanical, software, and test teams to synchronize design, procurement, and testing schedules.
Provide evidence and documentation for each Design Assurance gate, ensuring compliance with program standards and regulations.
Mentor junior engineers and foster an inclusive, collaborative environment focused on technical excellence.
