About The Position
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Provide prompt and courteous service to guests. Remove empty beverage containers from gaming areas. Follow all procedures pertaining to responsible liquor service (e.g. check IDs, refuse service to intoxicated patrons, monitor guest consumption of alcohol, intervene as needed, etc.). Stock supplies at all stations. Keep all stations clean and neat. Maintain all paperwork, audit sheets, closeouts, opening reports and other tallies as required. Handle money according to procedures. Promote casino events and programs in a positive manner. Resolve guest complaints, ensuring satisfaction. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. QualificationsEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Previous liquor service experience preferred. Alcohol certification required. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES Excellent customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of liquor service. Able to relate and develop a rapport with guests. Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English. Able to tolerate secondhand smoke, noise and bright lights. Able to handle money accurately. Able to intervene and refuse alcohol service when necessary. Able to maintain a smiling, friendly demeanor at all times. Adaptable and flexible in all situations. Strong salesmanship ability. Mathematical aptitude. Neat, professional appearance. Pleasant, professional attitude. UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures. Regular attendance and punctuality. Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required. Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Mobility throughout the facility. Able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds on a repetitive basis. Able to bend and stoop repeatedly. Able to walk extensively.
