Circle Bar Bartender
About The Position
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Provide prompt service to servers and customers in a courteous manner. Make sure all bars are stocked with adequate amounts of beer, liquor, juices, etc. Keep work area, liquor room and beer cooler neat and organized. Keep work area adequately stocked. Provide information to customers in a courteous manner. Inform manager of any breakdown or malfunction of equipment. Follow policies and procedures pertaining to bookwork and money handling. Monitor liquor system as to refilling empty bottles. Preparation of service (cut fruit, dishwashing, etc.). Clean up and close down of the bar (mopping, etc.). Maintain any and all paperwork, audit sheets, close-outs, opening reports and other tallies as required. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Previous bartending experience required. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent sales and customer service skills. Strong salesmanship abilities. Knowledge of liquor service and applicable laws. Able to maintain composure under stressful circumstances. Able to work independently without supervision. Self-motivated and dependable. Courteous and professional. Mathematical aptitude. UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures. Regular attendance and punctuality. Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required. Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Mobility throughout the facility. Able to bend and twist repeatedly. Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Able to push up to 50 pounds.
