maintaining sanitary equipment and environment for production of food products operating, monitoring, and understanding the CIP systems and COP systems manually and hand cleaning valve and equipment parts operating and maintaining equipment in the CIP room perform preventative maintenance on valve and pump equipment maintaining accurate written HACCP reports and preventative maintenance checklists responsible for organizing and structuring personal needs around the business to accomplish goals in an effort to meet deadlines coordinating with the Parts department to ensure that valve and pump equipment supplies are on hand good understanding of sanitation practices and principles, including manual and automated cleaning willing to work in a team environment as well as independently must have a demonstrated mechanical aptitude must have the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces must have the ability to lift 50 pounds must have the ability to climb ladders to access equipment willing to learn the manufacturing process such as process flows, dairy sciences, regulatory requirements, equipment, and control operation ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, etc. ability to work flexible days and hours must have basic mechanical ability basic computer, reading, and math skills good written and verbal communication skills ability to solve problems in the work area with little supervision ability to operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissorlifts, etc.
