Nationality Requirements Due to the nature of the programs we support, certain roles may require candidates to meet U.S. nationality requirements and be eligible to obtain a security clearance. Position Summary The CI Tech Assembler supports Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives by assembling, modifying, and testing products, fixtures, and prototypes while actively participating in process improvement activities. This role focuses on improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost through standardized work, waste reduction, and collaboration with CI, Engineering, and Production teams

Requirements

  • Understanding of basic manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Working knowledge of Lean principles (5S, waste reduction, standard work, continuous improvement)
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Basic problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and support new processes
  • Self-starter
  • Mechanical aptitude and building/assembly skills
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities to use hand, power tools, and measuring equipment
  • Creative and innovative thinking skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to focus and work on multiple actions, tasks, processes, and problems daily
  • Ability to PRIORITZE and resolve critical production-related issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including conflict-resolution abilities across departments
  • Ability to understand and meet crucial time frames and deadlines
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Desire/willingness to learn LEAN – Continuous improvement Principles, tools, and concepts and ability to apply knowledge and skill
  • Typically, High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 2+ years of related experience
