Position Summary The CI Tech Assembler supports Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives by assembling, modifying, and testing products, fixtures, and prototypes while actively participating in process improvement activities. This role focuses on improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost through standardized work, waste reduction, and collaboration with CI, Engineering, and Production teams

Requirements

• Understanding of basic manufacturing and assembly processes
• Working knowledge of Lean principles (5S, waste reduction, standard work, continuous improvement)
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Basic problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to change and support new processes
• Self-starter
• Mechanical aptitude and building/assembly skills
• Knowledge, skills, and abilities to use hand, power tools, and measuring equipment

• Ability to focus and work on multiple actions, tasks, processes, and problems daily
• Ability to PRIORITZE and resolve critical production-related issues

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Desire/willingness to learn LEAN – Continuous improvement Principles, tools, and concepts and ability to apply knowledge and skill
• Typically, High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 2+ years of related experience
