About The Position

Hanna Interpreting Services LLC is a language service provider connecting bilingual and multilingual individuals with opportunities to serve as freelance interpreters or translators. The mission is to bridge communication gaps through excellent and compassionate language services. Hanna is seeking bilingual and multilingual individuals to operate as freelance interpreters in a 1099 Independent Contractor role. As an interpreter, you contribute positively to society by supporting language access for everyone. As an independent contractor, you manage your own schedule and accept appointments based on your availability. Appointments are typically available Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, but are not guaranteed and are offered based on need.

Requirements

Fluency in English and target language with a comprehensive understanding of idiomatic speech and cultural patterns
Demonstrated professionalism, punctuality, and adaptability in the workplace
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to operate basic communication
Flexibility to work in different settings and adapt to various work environments
Must be located in and authorized to work in the US
High School Diploma or equivalent; or certification in interpreting or related fields

Nice To Haves

Previous interpreting experience, preferably in medical, legal, or educational settings
