About The Position

Church Planting Team - Worship Leader
Reports To: Hill City Worship Director

Job Overview: Salt Network church plants aim to plant with a Core Team of 4 members - the Church Planter, Salt Company Director, Worship Director and Female Lead. The Church Planting Team - Worship Leader will train under Hill City's Worship team for 2 years with the end goal of being sent on a church plant as the Worship Director. In this role, you will gain experience in all aspects of worship ministry - building and executing strategy, leading volunteer teams and developing leaders, planing Sunday gatherings, supporting ministry specific worship needs, and supporting production and A/V needs. his position will also assist the Church Planting Team in whatever ways needed.

Requirements

• Desire to serve as the Worship Director on a future Hill City church plant
• 3+ years of experience in worship ministry
• Bachelor's degree or applicable experience
• Strong vocal and/or instrumental skillset
• Experience with software necessary to execute worship ministry planning and gatherings (Google Suite, Planning Center, ProPresenter, MultiTracks, etc.)
• Highly collaborative and strong team-working skills
• Organized, self-driver who is able to take general direction and produce results

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ministry areas to determine worship needs
• Plan and oversee rehearsals and gatherings for ministry specific needs
• Assist the Worship team in the ministry planning and budgeting process
• Recruit, assess and onboard new volunteers to the ministry
• Invest in and equip volunteers
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure excellence
• Ensure all organizational structures and processes are effective and efficient
• Assist Hill City Staff as needed
• Training, organizational development, and processes required of all staff
