The Choir Instructor will work with children and adults in the corps and community to plan and implement a music program. This program will include teaching music theory, performance skills, and values. The role involves leading music or other arts programs, lesson planning, and preparing participants for recitals and concerts. The instructor will encourage participants to develop musical abilities, heighten self-esteem, and engage in positive activities, while also promoting the mission of The Salvation Army Corps in the community. Additionally, the instructor will encourage participation in summer music camps and assist with planning for these programs.
