About The Position

Under the direction of the Clinical Process and Education Manager, and in collaboration with Clinical Leadership, the Ambulatory Clinical Educator demonstrates clinical expertise by supporting the development and delivery of evidence-informed clinical education across the Concord Hospital Medical Group (CHMG). The Ambulatory Clinical Educator participates in the implementation and evaluation of clinical education and staff development initiatives that support the ongoing competence, professional growth, and consistency of clinical staff practice. This role supports educational efforts designed to enhance quality, safety, and patient-centered care in the ambulatory setting, while aligning with organizational priorities, approved clinical processes, and regulatory requirements. The Ambulatory Clinical Educator establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with practice leaders and clinical teams to support effective education delivery and practice adoption. The role promotes a culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvement through education and serves as an accessible clinical education resource to ambulatory clinical staff. Direction, prioritization, and oversight of educational initiatives are provided by the Clinical Process and Education Manager.

Requirements

  • Licensure required: current NH Board of Nursing RN licensure.
  • Certification required: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Nurse is required, preferably in an ambulatory or outpatient setting.
  • The candidate must demonstrate competent nursing practice and the ability to apply clinical knowledge to support education, quality, and workflow improvement in a practice environment.
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and strong communication skills are required to effectively support clinical staff education.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Experience in staff education, training, precepting, or onboarding is preferred, along with demonstrated leadership and influence skills appropriate to a non-supervisory role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, deliver, and evaluate clinical education programs for staff across CHMG practices.
  • Support a variety of clinical education initiatives as directed by leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Provide education and competency assessment for clinical staff, including skills validation and ongoing proficiency evaluation.
  • Deliver targeted education on vaccines, including administration, storage, documentation, and patient education.
  • Participate in clinical process improvement initiatives by providing supportive educational resources and training.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Managers and Clinical Leaders to reinforce education, competencies, and standardized workflows.
  • Identify educational gaps or barriers to practice, escalate findings, and recommend enhancements to leadership.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based guidelines, regulatory requirements, and best practices relevant to assigned education initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and facilitation skills appropriate for adult learning in clinical settings.
  • Serves as a clinical education resource and coach.
  • Supports regulatory readiness and audit preparation through education.
