The Children's Club Curator is responsible for contributing to the youth program's goal of providing fun, educational, and caring services to children of members and guests in a warm and welcoming environment. This involves building rapport with children and parents, participating in daily activities such as organizing arts and crafts time, leading games, reading stories, and singing songs, and promoting youth programs while assisting parents with registration. The role also includes helping to keep facilities and equipment clean and well-maintained. The curator is expected to report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, complete safety training and certifications, and adhere to company policies and procedures, including maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality. Furthermore, the position requires welcoming and acknowledging guests, anticipating and addressing their service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, communicating professionally, developing positive working relationships, and complying with quality assurance standards. Physical demands include visually inspecting tools, equipment, or machines, reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, moving, lifting, or carrying objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds, and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. Additional licensing or registration requirements may apply depending on local and state agencies.
