About The Position

Hubbard House is seeking a Childcare Worker who has a passion for early childhood education and helping children grow in positive ways. The Childcare Worker will work with children ages Birth to 5 years. The Childcare Worker must maintain a safe learning environment and provide direct supervision while following DCF childcare regulations. Following daily schedules and curriculum is also required.

Requirements

• HS diploma or GED
• 45 hours of DCF childcare training
• 1 year experience in a childcare setting
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Must successfully clear background screening
• Must be able to produce proof of eligibility to work in the United States (E-Verify)
• A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required
• Vehicle insurance must be maintained
• Must meet eligibility requirements for Hubbard House, Inc. vehicle insurance coverage

Nice To Haves

• CDA-Child Development Associate preferred.
• Experience in one or more of the following is a plus: sexual assault or domestic violence programs.
• Bi-lingual capabilities a plus.
