About The Position

Child Development Schools and its local affiliate companies are seeking a Childcare Center Bus Driver to join their team. This role is part of a dynamic movement focused on shaping the future of early childhood education, providing developmental education for children aged six weeks to twelve years across 11 states. As a bus driver, the primary responsibility is the safe transportation of children to and from facilities. Additionally, the role involves serving as a teacher, working to create a nurturing environment, assisting in guiding young learners, planning engaging activities, and cultivating strong partnerships with parents through open communication.

Requirements

Are at least 21 years old
Hold a CDL
Possess the necessary credentials for a Bus Driver in Oklahoma
Ability to pass a background check
A high school diploma or GED
A valid driver's license
Have child passenger safety training
Have genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances
Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children

Responsibilities

Ensure the safe transportation of children to and from our facilities
Serve as a teacher, working to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive
Assist in guiding young learners
Plan engaging activities
Cultivate strong partnerships with parents through open communication
