About The Position

Child Development Schools and its local affiliate companies are seeking a Childcare Center Bus Driver to join their team. This role is part of a dynamic movement focused on shaping the future of early childhood education, providing developmental education for children aged six weeks to twelve years across 11 states. The organization is undergoing a cultural transformation to redefine childcare and address challenges faced by families and educators. As a bus driver, the primary responsibility is the safe transportation of children to and from facilities. Additionally, the role involves serving as a teacher, working to create a nurturing environment, assisting in guiding young learners, planning engaging activities, and cultivating strong partnerships with parents through open communication.

Requirements

  • Are at least 21 years old
  • Hold a CDL
  • Possess the necessary credentials for a Bus Driver in Oklahoma
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • A valid driver's license
  • Have child passenger safety training
  • Have genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children
