About The Position

The Childcare Attendant is responsible for the safety and well-being of children under their supervision. This includes engaging children in various activities that promote sensory, motor, creative, and social development, such as games, crafts, and storytelling. The role also involves maintaining a clean and hygienic environment by sanitizing toys and surfaces, and communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 16
• Experience working with children (usually 6 months to 1+ years)
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor children to ensure safety at all times
• Engage in play and activities that support sensory and motor development
• Organize games, crafts, and storytelling to encourage creativity and social interaction
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness, including sanitizing toys and surfaces
